Hi there, I’m Dr. Lynn Banis, and I’m so glad you’re here. A few years ago, my life took a turn that I never saw coming. Within three short years, I lost my mom, my little brother, and my husband. It felt like the world around me went dark. Grief hit me hard, and with it came a deep sense of loneliness that I struggled to shake. But through my journey, I realized something powerful: I wasn’t alone in this. Many other women were going through similar struggles. With a PhD in human behavior and decades of experience in coaching, I knew I had the tools to help others. That’s why I created Widows Rising Together—to help widows like you overcome loneliness and rediscover joy and purpose in life. In this document, I’m sharing 10 practical tools that can help you reclaim your social life and break free from the grip of loneliness. Let’s get started.
